It took a pandemic for us to realize the need of a sound living space and a humane habitat. Whereby, we could comprehend the extent to which our houses actually shaped our personality and emotions. But, hardly a few of our houses or neighborhoods have a sense of multiplicity which is required to sustain as well as entertain us. Our houses have practically become our prisons in which we are confined day in and day out. Let us imagine a neighborhood which encompasses all our different needs and at the same time is more cohesive, so as to encourage interaction while maintaining privacy.

The task was to design serviced housing for individuals or a family to inhabit for a temporary basis. The houses can be rented for a short-term time period or even for a long-term basis. The living spaces can be partly or completely rentable. Here, equal emphasis has to be given on the dwelling units and the shared amenities.

1. Ten Single occupancy units 40 sq. m.
2. Five Double occupancy units 60 sq. m.
3. Five Units accommodating four people 110 sq. m.
4. Two Units accommodating six people 150 sq. m.

The provision and area required for amenities such as a canteen, gym, laundry, workspace, multipurpose hall, playground and parking have to be incorporated at your end.
