Both Orchha and Chanderi are located in the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. Orchha located on the Betwa River is surrounded by a battelment wall and consists of several interconnected buildings. The Chaturbhuj Temple with its tallest Vimana dominates the skyline and was built during the reign of Mugal emperor Akbar. Whilst, Orchha known for its temple complexes and Kunds; Chanderi is known for the chanderi cotton silk fabric with weavers settlements that accommodate the courtyard houses that during daytime covert into a weaving paradise and at night a place of resting.
