GOA RSP (Batch 2021)

Sal School of Architecture along with a group ‘Wheels of Innovations, (WOI)’ had organised a Related Study Programme for the 3rd semester students. WOI is a group which organises study trips for students of different colleges and schools.

Architect Hyacinth Pinto a renowned architect who specializes in earthen architecture was the mentor for the whole workshop cum RSP in Goa. The students during their 6 day stay in Goa visited different projects undertaken by Ar. Hyacinth. She also conducted workshop on mud construction for the students.

The students got a hands-on experience on Rammed earth construction, Wattle and daub and Cobb wall construction.

During the whole trip, the students visited many important places such as Houses of Goa Museum, Fontainhas Area, St. Sebastian’s Chapel, Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, Basilica of Bom Jesus, Chapel of St. Catherine, Church of St. Francis Assissi and Shantadurga Temple.
